About
Justin Nestor is ten year resident of St. John who was born and raised in Northwest Indiana. He will bring both a strong legal and law enforcement background to the St. John Town Council. A graduate of Ball State University and Valparaiso University School of Law, Justin served eight years as a Lowell police officer achieving the permanent rank of Corporal before leaving the department to pursue his legal career. Now a partner with the law firm of Bryce, Downey & Lenkov, Justin is licensed to practice in the states of Indiana and Illinois, and heads up the firm’s Indiana office in Schererville. He specializes in workers’ compensation defense and represents private industry entities as well as municipalities.
Justin and his wife Rebecca are proud to be raising their three daughters in St. John, where he is dedicated to the town’s continued development and responsible growth. He would like to see an improved and expanded park system, as well as community activities for all ages, young and old. Justin will encourage an organized effort to support local businesses and to attract high end retail and restaurants to the community. Justin will work to maintain housing and property values for St. John, while maintaining fiscal responsibility. He will also advocate and strongly support the continued high levels of public safety and protection for all residents.
Justin Nestor will work for you, your family and for all of St. John to provide the highest standards of community living in an environment that is safe and sound.
